This is an excellent video on You Tube that describes Telehealth in the VA.  It demonstrates primary care in Craig, Colorado; specialty care in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico; and Mental Health Care in Cleveland.  The VA really has been the leader in telehealth, whether speaking of General Telehealth (Real Time), Store and Forward (Tele-derm, Teleretinal imaging) and Home Telehealth.  Awesome stuff, increasing access, compliance, thoroughness, patient and provider satisfaction in a cost effective manner.  I can’t wait to see the VA’s Mobile Telehealth clinic become operational the latter part of this calendar year.
